Welcome to Structural and Subtle! My name is John Headley. Structural and Subtle was born from my passion for eastern massage traditions including Zen Shiatsu and Tui Na.  I find that the combination of acupressure, stretching, and massage creates powerful change in the body and also feels amazing.

OFFERINGS:

THERAPEUTIC ACUPRESSURE & STRETCHING MASSAGE

This fully clothed, table-based or mat-based massage blends rhythmic, pressure-based techniques with assisted stretching and movement. Drawing from Tui Na and Zen Shiatsu, sessions may include acupressure, compression, rocking, joint movement, and focused work on areas of muscular tension. 

Rhythmic movement and sustained pressure invite the body to soften and let go, creating an experience that is both deeply soothing and therapeutic.

CUSTOMIZED THERAPEUTIC TABLE MASSAGE

This traditional, draped table massage combines Swedish and deep tissue techniques to address muscular tension and promote relaxation. Sessions are tailored to your needs and preferences, with optional cupping to complement the hands-on work.
